Love it or hate it, UNIX (and its inspired derivatives) have set a philosophical course that cannot be ignored. The most common metaphors underpinning modern operating systems were almost all, in no small part, pioneered or revolutionized by the creation of UNIX.

Inspired by ratfactor's OpenBSD explorations, I have decided to take the plunge, running OpenBSD in a QEMU environment in order to test it. I even re-built my server infrastructure to run OpenBSD (instead of Ubuntu, on which iikorni.space was previously hosted).
